The Last of Us has been having a formidable run despite originally releasing a decade ago. The PlayStation exclusive was reborn once again when it was released as a remake for the PS consoles in 2022. And the TV adaptation that hit the screens early this year only bolstered the rejuvenation. Loved by everyone, this series has already become a sensational hit. And if that wasn’t enough, the remake finally made its way to the PC as well. It wasn’t well received as the game was overladen with bugs and glitches. However, the developers have made sure to deliver the rightful experience to the users, and the latest 25GB update is proof of it.
Now, PlayStation has released an interesting ad for The Last of Us, trying to further maintain the hype around the game. They released this on Twitter, featuring famous content creator King Bach. The premise of the skit was the spreading of The Last of Us infection in real-life. Maybe this was a gentle nod to the live-action adaptation of the game released on HBO.

The video concluded with a cliffhanger. The reporter from London commented on the situation pointing out the possibility of more people being infected if they keep on playing The Last of Us on the console. Eyewitness footage also revealed the words printed on the wall, “You’ve seen it. Now live it. On PS5.”
This very-graphic ad from Sony has peaked the excitement of many fans, who believe PlayStation is gearing up for a multiplayer version of TLOU. And they have demanded this multiplayer version of the game be presented on the PlayStation Showcase.

While many fans believe the theory of the game’s arrival at the showcase, Sony is yet to reveal the Showcase date. Although rumors have pointed out that the Showcase will be held in May/June. User @johnnyjl96 has asked PlayStation to “Let the games do the talking.” Many have backed him on this and asked for Sony to announce a date.
Spectacular marketing my guys. You’re the best at what you do. But can we get something for the fans like a Showcase… you know that little thing that Jim Ryan appears to say “let the games do the talking” and it’s badass.
