Martin Foss Anderson, popularly known as MrSavage or formerly known as MrSavageM, is an 18-year-old Norwegian gaming YouTuber who gained fame for his competitive gameplay in Fortnite: Battle Royale. He has many accolades under his name, but his recent partnership with Redbull has made the fans baffled!

As of March 2023, Martin stands as the fifth highest-earning gamer in Norway, raking in an impressive $442,000. He began his YouTube journey in 2018, sharing gameplay clips of Fortnite: Battle Royale. His solo vs. squad gameplays and participation in the competitive scene gave him the spotlight, leading to his astronomical success. Martin’s exceptional skills in the competitive scene have landed him yet another lucrative deal. 

MrSavage joins Redbull’s Fortnite pro scene

On May 23, Martin shared on his official Twitter that he is all set to join Redbull as one of their eSports athletes. This announcement made the fans run wild as they praise the young gamer for his amazing accolades and achievements in the fields in such a brief span of time. They expressed their pride and love for the young Martin. 

In February 2020, MrSavage joined 100 Thieves. Shortly after, on February 23, he competed as a solo participant at DreamHack and emerged victorious, earning a prize of $30,000. He also took part in the Fortnite Championship Series finals in the European region. During Chapter 2: Season 2, Martin and his duo partner, Idrop, achieved a respectable 12th place.

Then on February 12, 2023, Martin left Become Legends to join 00NATION. Just two days later, on February 14, 2023, Martin and his squad comprising Japko, KamiFN, and Pkr29 took part in the Tfue Tuesday week 2 tournament, securing a remarkable 1st place finish, with each member earning $4,000.

One of the most debated topics surrounding Fortnite is whether it is primarily a game for kids. Jake asked Martin for his opinion on this matter. The latter responded to the question in a calm and carefree manner, acknowledging that there are indeed many kids playing Fortnite. However, he emphasized that it is unfair to criticize the game without valid reasons, as almost everyone has played Fortnite at some point.
