Seems like Counter Strike 2’s announcement and grand reveal have made Call of Duty lovers jealous.

Valve recently came out with awaited news on its long-running Counter-Strike franchise. The next major game in this FPS series has finally made its appearance. Following the rumors and theories, it is eventually coming out later this year. While there are tons of things to get excited about, some of the highlighted features introduced for CS2 have fascinated gaming enthusiasts. Not to mention that even Call of Duty fans are also in awe of the shooter title.

Call of Duty players want devs to bring Counter Strike 2 features to Modern Warfare II

The devs of Counter Strike 2 recently unveiled sub-tick servers. For those who are not aware, these servers remove tick rates between all the different actions a player takes in the game. Basically, such servers are capable of easily and smoothly taking in the users’ movements.

As a result of less delay, one gets a high quality experience. Because the inputs inside the game translate into almost instant actions on the screen. After taking a look at what Counter Strike 2 is doing with tick rates, Call of Duty players also want the same thing for Activision’s franchise as well.

A Reddit user shared a post on the social platform while discussing about CS2. According to them, the servers in COD right now are not good enough. And that the devs at Activision should learn from Valve and what they are doing with their upcoming title. “Can we finally stop excusing the shit networking in CoD?” read the title of the post.

Many players believe that it’s not a rocket science to implement great servers for Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2. They think that similar to Valve, even COD devs can work on this situation to offer an amazing online gaming experience.
