Red Dead Redemption, another famous creation by Rockstar Games besides the iconic Grand Theft Auto Series. The worthy successor to Red Dead Revolver, Redemption, was released way back in 2010 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PS4 and Switch fans have always regretted not being able to play the first title of this iconic title.

Now it seems like the upcoming port to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch of this legendary game will quench the thirst of all the RDR fans out there. Red Dead Redemption will launch on PS4 and Nintendo Switch along with the Undead Nightmare Expansion on August 17, 2023. And from a certain aspect, this new version seems to be a bit easier for the fans.

This new version of Red Dead Redemption may be a treat for all PS4 and Switch users (only if they never had it for PS3 or an Xbox 360). But as far as the majority of the fanbase is concerned, they dearly wanted a proper remastered version of this iconic open-world title. Instead, Rockstar Games released a port for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. And fans don’t seem to be very happy with this decision.

Although there is much speculation about how the game will shape up like what upgrades the PS4 version will have compared to the 2010 version. There haven’t been many announcements or updates regarding this. But one thing we have learned recently is that in the new version, it’s easier to collect all the trophies than in the older version. As there is no multiplayer mode available in the RDR PS4 version, the time-consuming multiplayer trophies that were present in the PS3 version have been removed.

The multiplayer trophies were a real headache. You had to leave no stone unturned to boss all the trophies, like winning four times in a row in team-based matches and finishing all the online hideouts.

Although the present trophies are not as easy to collect as you think. There are still a bunch of hard-to-get trophies in this game. Yet it would be better than grinding online mode for them.

The new Red Dead Redemption may not be liked by all the fans. They still have a brilliant reason to dive into the open world of RDR again.
