Jarrett Allen is a lover of Nintendo blockbuster Zelda!

For those who are unaware, Cleveland Cavaliers’ staff play a brief jingle-type music whenever Jarrett scores. And the jingle, from the hit Nintendo video game saga The Legend of Zelda, playing is not a coincidence.

Jarrett is a massive lover of Nintendo’s blockbuster Zelda franchise. He grew up playing the engaging with the games and still collects every key memorabilia related to the famous franchise.

As reported in an ESPN article, Jarrett Allen was originally asked by his former team Brooklyn Nets’ employees to suggest what was to be played whenever he scored. Without any hesitation, Allen chose Zelda’s ‘Tokioka’ jingle. It’s a mystery-solving theme that plays in the Nintendo game whenever the protagonist finds a secret item.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star selected the jingle also because it was brief and sweet.

His love for Nintendo’s Zelda goes back to the old days when he wasn’t the star he is now. In 2016, he initially revealed his liking for the game in a tweet. He called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild “one of the best in the series” during the E3 event that year.

A year later, in 2017, he again showed his passion for Zelda in a tweet, while replying to a question.

Well, that pretty much clears everything out then. Jarrett Allen is definitely a Zelda fan.
