Alex Katouzian, the esteemed Senior Vice President of Qualcomm, unveiled an intriguing collaboration between Qualcomm and Sony’s mysterious venture, known only as “Project Q.” This revelation took place during the highly anticipated Computex 2023 event, where Katouzian shared Qualcomm’s ongoing discussions with PlayStation regarding their upcoming project.

Katouzian expressed many console game companies are eager to explore handheld devices, not aiming for high-end graphics capabilities, but aiming to keep mobile gamers within their own gaming ecosystems. He further emphasized that Qualcomm, being a titan in the realm of Android gaming, is a prime candidate for such collaborations, as console game companies are well aware of Qualcomm’s extensive reach and influence in this domain.
