For those of you who were unaware of what occurred to this map a few months ago, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare museum in the beta release was one of the most discussed topics at the time of release. This map was mysteriously removed after the launch, and fans never really understood why. They anticipated it to return to the complete game, but it never did.

The Modern Warfare beta transported gamers to the magnificent historical Valderas Museum. This map, which was wider than most previous maps in the game, offered various tactical sight lines.

So, where is the Modern Warfare 2 museum map? Since the official release of Modern Warfare 2, the museum map officially called the Valderas Museum, based in Spain, has been missing from the game.

They presumably deleted the Valderas Museum map when legal concerns emerged about the game’s representation of its actual counterpart, the Getty Center. Another theory was that the Museum map showed considerable flickering. There were also various graphical problems on the farm map as well. However, it looks like the much-talked map is set to make its return as per the latest information.

Twitter is seeing mixed reactions to the comeback of this Call of Duty Map

CharlieIntel, who is famously known for sharing such information, released a tweet that simply hosts the image of the Valderas Museum. However, nothing else has been included in the tweet other than the image. As a result, this tweet has sparked several replies from game aficionados.

During the beta, Valderas Museum was a contentious map, with players arguing that it was way too huge for a 6v6 map. Players wanted fresh maps to liven up the multiplayer experience, but they didn’t foresee Valderas Museum making a comeback. Perhaps its removal was a result of Infinity Ward revising the map in response to this input.

However, no tangible proof has emerged, and neither Activision nor Infinity Ward has commented on the map’s absence or reappearance, leaving us to speculate as to why it’s gone and whether this fan-favorite map will return.
