Survival horror fever is just getting started. It started with Dead Space earlier this year and continued with Resident Evil 4 Remake. Both games were very successful. So much so that their respective companies have intentions of continuing these franchises further.
Capcom is already acting on that decision. During the recent State of Play showcase by Sony, the developer and publisher showed off a bunch of new additional content making its way to Resident Evil 4 Remake.

During this showcase, Capcom decided to show off what they had been working on all these months. The first of them was the highly anticipated VR mode update for Resident Evil 4 remake. After the masterstroke that was Resident Evil 7 and the rush that was Resident Evil Village in VR, Capcom has now decided to give players of Resident Evil 4 remake a similar perspective.
The game looks pretty good in VR; it looks much better than those hurried attempts to cash in on the VR craze that some developers tend to do. For now, it would be exclusive to PlayStation VR 2 though.
Then comes the campaign DLC. When the game launched earlier this year, fans wondered if Capcom would even bring that DLC to this new game. It was an important part of the GameCube original. Capcom hinted at the possibility of this DLC, and some rumors stated it was happening too. But we had to see it to believe it. Ada Wong, the supporting character of the original game, is getting her own story.

Her story plays out parallel to Leon’s story, and we see everything that Leon does from a new perspective. As with the original, she would have her own set of abilities and weapons. And players cannot wait to finally get their hands on this exciting new story mode.
And finally, this game is getting two new characters for its mercenary mode. One of them is Ada Wong, and the other is Albert Wesker.
