The Last of Us, the iconic and beloved franchise, is set to make a return once again later this year. As it’s already known, the official remake of the first part is coming soon. However, there’s also the live-action adaptation of the series that will soon arrive to mesmerize the fans of Joel and Ellie.
The writer and producer of The Last of Us TV series at HBO, recently shared a massive and delightful update on its status. He just revealed a major update on the show, indirectly indicating that it’s near to the debut.

HBO’s live-action adaptation of the highly popular, post-apocalyptic franchise has been in the news for quite a while. Initially, it began gaining traction after it was announced that The Mandalorian Star, Pedro Pascal, will play Joel. Simultaneously, the makers of the series also revealed teenage actress Bella Ramsey as Ellie, the daughter figure of Joel.
As per reports, The Last of Us TV show is one of the most expensive shows ever made.
During the Summer Game Fest 2022 session, Neil Druckmann, the director of the video game installments, revealed the official trailer recently for the remake of the first entry. With all the enhanced visuals and details, the game looked absolutely fresh and appealing, to say the least. It will arrive in September 2022 for PS5 while also making its way to PC in the near future.

It looks like the news of the remake’s announcement wasn’t enough for the hardcore fans. Craig Mazin, the writer, and producer of the HBO show, just revealed that the overall shooting of The Last of Us show is now officially wrapped.

It implies that the series is done with all the episodes and fans need to just wait now for its premiere.
Meanwhile, the die-hard lovers of Ellie and Joel were ecstatic after knowing about the latest news. Most of them couldn’t contain their emotions and wrote that they can’t wait to see the actual show.
