Can You Actually Use a Jetpack In Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is arguably the most popular and successful title in the Animal Crossing series. Nintendo reported ACNH secured the second-highest selling title after Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by selling 5.0 million units (between October to December 2021).

Not to mention, developers were able to draw a lot of players’ attention to New Horizons after releasing the 2.0 update. The most loved feature that was recently introduced was the cooking mechanics and Harv’s Plaza.

By introducing Harv’s Plaza, users could reunite with popular characters from past titles such as Tortimer, Katrina, Harriet, and others. Moreover, Harv’s Plaza introduced eight shops, and each shop is owned by a different character or duo.

Players can purchase different decoration items or customize items from these shops. Interestingly, a Reddit user recently discovered that players can even purchase a Jet Pack at Harv’s Plaza.

Before the 2.0 update, Harv’s Island was only famous for Photopia, a building where players could take photos with their island residents.

However, after introducing Harv’s Plaza, several users started visiting the island more frequently. The eight shops are:

• Harriet – Hairstyles
• Katrina – Fortune Teller
• Saharah – Wallpapers and Flooring
• Tortimer – Storage
• Resse and Cyrus – Customizations
• Leif – Plant Shop
• Redd – Art and Raffle
• Kicks – Shoes and Accessories

How to purchase Jet Pack at Harv’s Plaza?

In order to purchase the Jet Pack, you must first unlock the Kicks’ store at Harv’ Plaza. After unlocking the Kicks’ store, you will notice many shoes and accessories at his shop.

Among those accessories, you can also purchase the Jet Pack for 12,000 bells on a random day. Naturally, several New Horizons fans got excited after watching the Reddit user’s post.

One comment said, “Really? I just bought the sword and scabbard item from Kicks. Had no idea it even existed. I love these little additions!” Whereas another user commented, “How about the “Tough Helmet?!” It’s like a hybrid of a Viking & Roman gladiator helmet WITH HORNS!!!”

Last but not the least, another user expressed their excitement about the Jet Pack item. The comment read, “I know everyone’s like this, but THE WHAT!? I gotta get that so badly!”
