Hogwarts Legacy offers players abundant features to try out. The wizarding journey is made memorable through these, allowing wizards to enjoy every bit of the new RPG game. Spells, which are among these very interesting elements, play a huge role in keeping the fans glued to the screens. But there is one thing that confuses and sort of irritates the players regarding the spells. And it is none other than the number of slots allotted to equip these.

So, is there a way you can increase the number of slots for spells? The answer is yes and here is how to do it.

There are a wide variety of spells that are present in the game. But the fact that only four slots are available for them is a bit annoying for gamers. The four-move slot system has been in effect for many popular games like Pokemon. So, it is no wonder Hogwarts Legacy brought the same system into their game. But unlike Pokemon games, where you have to forget and replace a move with another, Hogwarts Legacy has a much more effective way to deal with the problem.

For this, wizards need to unlock Talents. They are one of the most important upgrades for wizards in the game. To unlock Talents players need to complete the ‘Percival Rackham’ main quest. Although this is a rather long quest that involves many puzzles, completing it and talking to the painting of Rackham will straight-away unlock the Talents menu for the players.

Spell slots in the Talent tab

After you complete the mission, the Talents Tab would be active. In that, you will mainly find 5 categories- Dark Arts, Core, Spells, Stealth, and Room of Requirements. Each Talent branch is dedicated to certain features in the game. Players need to select the Core branch and move on to activate Spell Knowledge under the Core Talent tab. This unlocks extra slots for spells in the game.

Use the talent points pretty carefully as you cannot redeem them back after using them. The points can be obtained by completing each XP level through missions, quests, and fights. After spending a certain amount of Talent points on ‘Spell Knowledge’ you can switch through/cycle the spells and equip more than four at a time.

Note that you need to toggle the spells wheel to equip more spells into the list. And at a time, only four spells will be displayed, but again, you can easily switch the spell wheel after unlocking the talent.
