Fortnite Chapter 4 has been here for a while now. We have discussed its secrets; we have discussed its Battle Pass and we have even talked about every new character skin that might be coming to it.

But, there are a bunch of things that we have not talked about yet, and at the top of those things are Fortnite Chapter 4 myths! People sometimes talk about stuff that may or may not be a possibility. Some accept or reject these myths because they have not seen them with their own eyes.

So today, based on streamer TG Plays video, we would take a look at 10 Fortnite Chapter 4 myths and find out which turns out true and which is false!

Does Fortnite Shockwave Hammer damage people who are sitting in Vehicles?

Players got this new weapon in Chapter 4 called The Shockwave Hammer. This new hammer as its name suggests creates a shock on the ground and sends your opponent flying into the sky.

So, the streamer decided to test if this hammer damages players sitting inside vehicles, be it cars or bikes, and it turns out it does damage them. It does 75-76 damage to players when they are hit, no matter where they are sitting.

Does a Jump Attack done using a Shockwave Hammer deal bonus damage in Fortnite?

Another question that revolved around every Fortnite player’s head was, “Does Shockwave hammer do extra damage if we use it while jumping from a very high point? And indeed it does, it actually does more than double the damage to players.

Normally the hammer does 75-76 damage, but the above-mentioned process increases the damage to 125!

Can a Shockwave hammer save players from fall damage?

It is common for players to jump from cliffs in panic. It either puts them close to death or it instantly kills them. So players wonder if they jump from high-rise cliffs and attack the ground with a shockwave hammer, does it prevent fall damage?

Can you move chests using the Shockwave hammer in Fortnite?

Players use shockwave hammers to push other players, vehicles, and NPCs away from them. But one question that lingered in minds of all the players was “can you move chests using the Shockwave hammer?”.

Turns out you cannot. It just breaks them, spilling all the contents outside.

This question has lingered in minds of numerous gamers. Is the newly introduced dirt bike faster than cars? Epic Games introduced dirt bikes in Fortnite with Chapter 4. But they removed the beloved sports cars, so fans called the bikes a replacement for that superfast car.

And in his test TG Plays found out that indeed they were faster than Sports cars.

Do Snowballs break when they crash into each other?

One more new thing added in Chapter 4 is the ability to make snowballs in snowy areas. You just hit the snow with your mining tool and you end up with a large snowball and then you can just hop into it for a cool journey!

But what happens when two players create two snowballs and make them crash into each other? Do they break? No, they do not but they do take damage, indicating that continuous crashes can break them

Do you take fall damage while in a snowball?

You can create a snowball, damage players with it, and crash it into another snowball but, do you take fall damage while you are inside the snowball?

It turns out that jumping from high-rise cliffs while in a snowball, does not damage players at all. This can make transversal fast!

Can you fall off the edge of the map?

We all know that this time around the Island is literally floating in space, so the question “do we fall off the map if we go to the edge?” is nothing unusual.

But it turns out it is not possible, an invisible wall blocks players from even getting to the edge of the map, let alone falling from it.

Does jumping on jellyfish prevent fall damage?

Jellyfish now fly in the air, they can be found all over the map of the Island and when players touch them, they get a shock and a lot of armor. So everyone wondered if they jumped on those Jellyfish from a very high point, does that shockwave protect them from fall damage?

Turns out it does!

Can you ride the Drones?

Drones are also a somewhat new addition to this chapter. One question that most players have is, can players ride the drones?

Well, if you find a high enough point and if you make a very calculated jump, yes, you can ride the drone.
