Rick & Morty has gained a massive fan base over time. And this success made its creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, overnight celebrities. This led to Roiland founding his own video game studio called Squanch Games. This studio created a bunch of games that were well in line with the humor of Rick & Morty.

And one of those games, High on Life, even managed to be insanely successful and earn critical acclaim. And ever since this game’s success, fans have been wondering if they would ever see a Rick & Morty game come to life.

Rick & Morty is an eccentric series, featuring multiple dimensions and a bunch of humorous takes on a bunch of sci-fi formulae. A show featuring a pair of grandfather and grandson shows them traveling across the universe between several realities using a unique portal gun.

This alone makes this series the perfect subject for a quirky sci-fi comedy video game. And ever since High on Life launched, fans have been wanting a game based on Rick & Morty on their systems. But the creators of the series have yet to pay any attention to these requests.

While the creators of the series keep ignoring fan requests for a game based on this series, one fan has decided to create a prototype of his own. They created a fan trailer for a game based on Rick & Morty, and it looks exactly as crazy as one would imagine.

The trailer features Rick in first person while he explores multiple realities using his portal gun. He first lands in a world where the Guardians of the Galaxy seem to exist. He then moves on to another universe based in a weird universe where everything is mixed up. Then his ship was shown being stolen, which he tried to prevent. It appears that a raccoon from the Guardians tried to steal it.
