As much as fans love Call of Duty, they don’t like many aspects of its hit titles, especially the instances when they encounter cheaters. Hacking and cheating have become a serious problem for not just the popular battle royale like Warzone, but other famous multiplayer games as well.

Thanks to Call of Duty’s ambitious anti-cheat tool, however, it looks like Warzone has currently become a nightmare for those who try to hack and win by unfair means. The tool’s impact was witnessed once again during a livestream where an affiliate streamer showed how a cheater faced a deserving fate in the form of a strong ban.

Fans praise Team Ricochet as Call of Duty Warzone continues to get rid of hackers

Whenever there are instances of some epic bans, Call of Duty‘s official account never shies away from trolling the cheaters themselves. This time, too, the main account did exactly that by sharing a clip where a culprit was banned live.

The video comes from streamer Fifakill, who plays Warzone for Quadrant. He shared a hilarious clip of him laughing out loud to a hacker who got shut down when Fifakill was spectating the match.

As you can see in the video, the anti-cheat tool from Activision, Ricochet, is in full action as it results in the removal of the hacker. Hopefully, the tool will prove more effective in reducing more cheaters from Warzone.
