Things are worse than they have ever been in Activision’s Battle Royale title, Call of Duty Warzone. Hackers are still ruling the game and things are so bad that they have made it to the leaderboards. The top 20 best players in the world list majorly contain cheaters with merely 3 legitimate players.
This fact alone highlights the dire situation the game is in and it desperately needs an anti-cheat system. Reports from the industry suggest Season 5 reloaded could bring out the much-needed anti-cheat. The situation has gone so far out of control, as prominent streamers like Nickmercs, TimTheTatman, and more walked away from the game.
Hey @RavenSoftware I know this is the bottom of your priority list but I think it would be such an easy fix there are only 3 legit players in the top 20 of your leaderboards. They are getting free advertisement and we arent doing anything about it. Can we get a response at least? pic.twitter.com/p920CBpzoH

Twitter reacts to lack anti-cheat system in Call of Duty Warzone
The situation with the leaderboard is a glaring mistake that Raven Software has overlooked. The studio must immediately address and adequately reward honest players with a spot on the leaderboards.
Cheaters manage to pile up kill feed, and series of wins that are impossible to replicate by a legitimate player. Nonetheless, the existence of 3 honest players on the leaderboards speaks volumes about the community’s resolve and undying love for the game.
The studio can easily use this list to pick and ban everyone with absurd statistics that are impossible to achieve. The fans want the developers to run these names through the banning system and shell out automated bans.
You’d assume the guy has been reported hundreds of times and it would be a simple auto ban for name and on top of that hacks.

It is certainly a bad look for Raven Software, as it continues to disappoint the fanbase. The glaring problem with the leaderboard honestly depicts the horrible state of the game.

its actually pathetic that they havent addressed this yet , like it really cant be THAT hard to remove the leaderboard cheaters. butit is @RavenSoftware so you cant expect much from them lol

Call of Duty is famous for housing the most number of cheaters and the problem has remained unchanged even after a decade. Clearly, this isn’t a new issue that has shown up out of nowhere.

Top-rated Warzone player in the world and arguably the best console player, BoloTac aka Opmarked, shared his thoughts about the leaderboard. The veteran player voiced his opinion and demanded Raven Software to fix the leaderboard and it should only contain legitimate players.
Been saying this forever. I would love to have my rightful spot. Not even sure where I'm at anymore. #1 console and 78 or 9 for all platforms. Accounts are popping up overnight.
