Call of Duty Modern Warfare II‘s free-to-play extension Warzone, rebranded by Activision in the last few days, is soon receiving a brand new map. Following the introduction of Al Mazrah and then Ashika Island, fans will get to witness another massive area to jump into. Well this region is Vondel – based in the European country of the Netherlands.
However, before they start their adventures in Vondel, players will need to be fully prepared. After all, the next Resurgence map is nothing like they have seen so far in the game. Hence, they will have to be vary of its crucial points of interest (POIs) in order to stay ahead of their competitors.
Best drop locations to watch out in Vondel map for Call of Duty Warzone Season 4

The makers recently published a dedicated blog highlighting the details for the medium-sized region. Per the official description, in terms of area the map lies between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Which means players have a lot to explore. Especially in terms of finding the ideal drop locations. Although there are total 15 POIs, here we are trying to showcase the most crucial ones.
To begin with, there’s the Castle located in Vondel; it’s a 13th-century world heritage site. According to an intel, central island currently holds the major fortified headquarters of (REDACTED). What’s interesting to note is that they are deeply entrenched inside the fortress. Players of Call of Duty Warzone can expect light to medium enemy attacks here.
The next major POI is the University. Before the unexpected events took place in Vondel, Rivenberg University was a renowned research facility. “The main structure is three stories, with its primary entrance leading to a reception area. The atrium is an open concept with staircases leading up and down floors, with shops and a second-story courtyard.”
Another crucial drop location players should not miss out is the City Hall. This Greek Revival building has five floors. Out of them, two are widely accessible for the Operators. “The main vestibule contains a grand staircase to the building’s iconic main room, which has a marble-floored foyer with several lion statues and an impressive ceiling fresco.”

The Central Station is another important landing spot to watch out in Call of Duty Warzone. Forces of Operator Nikto appear to have attacked this station, according to the blog description. “Access points to the Station include numerous ground-level doors at the front and side entrances of the building, as well as a handful of underground entrances.”
Players are advised to check “the ticket plaza, mezzanine, and shops for useful items — and be wary of hostile forces.” There’s also a connecting tunnel beneath the main staircase and the elevator shafts up to the second-floor Museum area and roof.
The Graveyard will also be an interesting area to explore when Season 4 makes its way next week. It has got a central funeral parlor and crematorium. Moreover, there is enough roof space for reconnaissance or countersniping as well. Players can expect heavily armored opponents here.
Players can also go to the Courtyard which consists of luxury apartments and a variety of abandoned boutiques. The area can be utilized as a central lane, with the rooftops offering an amazing vantage point for fighting within and around this POI. Furthermore, some of the shops and apartments are accessible as well. Their layouts enable tactical movement for having an edge over the enemies in close-quarters combat.
