Ever since its debut in November 2022, Warzone 2 has mostly attracted unfavorable remarks from the players. And this trend seems to continue to going forward as well due to the number of issues which are still present at the moment.
Players are frustrated with poor footstep audio in Call of Duty Warzone 2

The success of the first battle royale from Activision has been quite influential over the players. Especially those, who appreciated the features and mechanics first introduced in Warzone 1. One of them was also footstep audio – a very crucial aspect that can make or break the chances of winning for a player in a match. The footstep audio helps in detecting the movement of a nearby enemy.
While the predecessor ended up being a fun ride for Call of Duty fans, the same can’t be said of its sequel in Warzone 2. Recently, a Reddit user took to the social platform to express their anger towards the way developers have implemented the footstep audio in this title.

The user, known as Klubhead, mentioned in their post that Warzone 2 has “the worst footstep audio in gaming history is delusional. Embarrassing that a game of this caliber even considered a ranked mode.”
Moreover, other Redditors also agreed with Klubhead’s opinions. They didn’t waste any time in criticizing the makers for ruining the gameplay experience. “This games audio is a full on embarrassment and they don’t give a f**k”. Have a look at some of the reactions below:
