The ongoing battle royale offering from Activision in Call of Duty Warzone 2 has been around for a while now. Ever since it was released worldwide last year in November 2022, the game has impressed a lot of fans. While they are grinding their way to get more rewards and items on a daily basis, there are still some challenges in which they need to be perfect. Because that’s the end goal every COD gamer tries to accomplish.
With the recent release of Season 2, Call of Duty devs also introduced a brand new feature for Warzone 2. Technically, it is available only in Ashika Island – the new Resurgence map in the game. Compared to the vast region of Al Mazrah, Ashika is fast-paced and enables frequent interaction of players with each other. To make the experience even more interesting and engaging, the map consists of a special feature called Restore Honor.

The feature is exclusive to Ashika Island only and is not available in Al Mazrah. For those who are curious to know more about it, it’s a feature that enables the player to restore their honor. But what does that mean? Well, every Operator, upon dying the first time in Ashika Island’s Resurgence mode, will drop a dog tag. A voice will be heard that will notify them that their dog tag has been dropped.
Call of Duty players will be informed when their teammates will be able to find their dog tags. When they pick up the dog tags of a teammate or their own, their honor will be restored in a given match of Warzone 2.

In order to restore the honor, players will have to interact with the dog tags. In return, they will receive a certain amount of in-game money and a UAV ping. The latter will momentarily mark the location of nearby enemies and supply crates.
The good thing is that opponents can’t take another operator’s dog tags. However, they will be able to keep an eye on anyone who will arrive in a given area to restore honor by picking up the tag. So one needs to be careful to face an unexpected attack.
