The Call of Duty franchise witnessed an amazing year in 2022 with the anticipated launch of Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2. The two offerings from Activision are very much interconnected this time in more ways than one.
Specifically speaking about Warzone 2, then it’s vastly different from its predecessor from 2020. This is primarily because of a newly introduced mode in DMZ. Honestly, it is unlike anything Call of Duty fans have ever experienced. Considering the fact that the mode is still in beta form, the makers should work on its future roadmap sooner than later. That’s because it seems like it is already losing its shine just months after an awaited arrival.

Geeky Pastimes is an extremely famous content creator and COD expert on Twitter. He keeps sharing valuable opinions about the franchise on social media about what the games need to change in order to maintain a healthy player base. This time, he discussed several things about the overall DMZ experience.
According to the Call of Duty Warzone 2 pro streamer, it looks like DMZ missions are not worth finishing now. In other words, players don’t get anything after making full progression or completing big quests. Simply put, there’s no clarity regarding the “endgame“, going by Geeky Pastimes’ tweet.
What are you meant to do in DMZ once you finish the missions?
Without a way to store cash/an incentive to keep weapons (insured weapons completely destroy any excitement from finding good contraband), I'm not sure what the 'endgame' is.
A base to upgrade/maintain would be cool

Hence, the streamer decided to present his own ideas for how Warzone 2 DMZ can be improved to offer a phenomenal experience to the players who are passionate about it. Geeky Pastimes mentioned some essential suggestions the devs can take in order to accomplish this objective.
In my dream DMZ they would:
-Get rid of insured weapons
-Have more 'unique' blueprint weapons attached to challenges/bosses scattered around the map (like the Chemist and his M13b)
-Have a Tarkov-style base you can upgrade to get perks in-game that you need loot to maintain— Geeky Pastimes (@geekypastimes) March 23, 2023
As one can see in the tweet above, the content creator believes that the format of insured weapons should be scrapped as soon as possible. Secondly, DMZ should include more unique blueprint weapons related to challenges or bosses inside the map.

Last but not the least, he thinks that the extraction-based mode should have a Tarkov-style base. With this, players will be able to make upgrades to obtain in-game perks that they need to loot.
