Raven Software is setting up Call of Duty: Warzone for the grand title change that will see the iconic map, Verdansk, go away. Verdansk’s send-off will be simultaneous to Vanguard’s Season One’s kick-off, and that is when Warzone will change names to Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. And this will also introduce the largest map in the franchise, Caldera.
Ahead of the massive changes, Raven Software is introducing enticing XP events starting next week. Surprisingly, one of the events is exclusive to PlayStation-based Warzone players.

While the debate on which console is better is never-ending, PlayStation-Warzone fans will see this as a minor victory for PlayStation. According to Raven Software’s Trello board, the current event that offers double XP, double weapon XP, and double battle pass XP will be followed by similar yet fascinating events. But what’s interesting is one of the events will only be limited to PlayStation.

The following week, from Monday through Tuesday (November 22-23), PS players will get to enjoy the 2XP (double XP) event. The event will only reward PS console players as per the Trello board. And the event will be succeeded by the return of 2XP, 2WXP, and 2BPXP (November 24-28).
Lastly, “Secrets of the Pacific” will start alongside the aforementioned event after the PS only one. “Secrets of Pacific” will go on from November 24 to December 1, which will then commemorate Caldera’s arrival in Warzone.
Pacific’s on-set
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer debut, with the beginning of its first ranked season on December 2nd, will see Pacific take over Warzone. Caldera’s launch will also be preceded by other various events to help players prepare for the brand-new map. One such event is the ongoing limited-time mode, Operation: Flashback.
