As surprising as it may get, Raven Software announced another update for Call of Duty: Warzone on August 20, which will witness a significant change in its meta. The meta had always revolved around AR weapons and after this update, we may see a huge change within the game.
The C58 and Krig 6, the two most beloved AR load-outs in the game, are getting nerfs along with the Dead Silence Perk. In other news, the High Silence Perk is getting a huge buff that will allow players to counter the Dead Silence Perk.

Assault rifles have always been the dominant load-out in Warzone for the past few seasons. However, Raven software’s changes with this update might deviate the players from using ARs. This will be a huge change to the Warzone meta as it typically revolved around ARs.
The C58, released back in Season 4, will see an increase in its recoil and a huge decrease in damage inflicted.
Krig, the low recoil AR, is also getting nerfed, with its maximum damage being decreased by over seven percent and minimum damage lowered by one hit point.
EM2 is also getting a nerf, with the ADS time being slightly increased. It will also no longer revive a damage increase for players who shot at the torso.
The most significant highlight of this update should definitely be the buff for High Alert. This will drastically nerf the capabilities of Dead Silence, now allowing players to hear the enemies’ footsteps.
