Call of Duty: Warzone will soon be known as Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific and this will happen once the game gets the new map. The players will get to experience the brand new map somewhere between Nov 30 and Dec 2. However, devs will launch this new map by using it as a replacement for the existing map, Verdansk.
The devs have announced that they are officially shutting down Verdansk. And it’s a bit of a hard fact to digest for fans as this popular map will be removed.
The devs a rather nice thing to say in the Tweet they uploaded recently, regarding the upcoming removal of the map.

The official name of the new map is “Caldera” which exists somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. This new map “Caldera” will be as big as the existing Verdansk map and will have over 200 points of interest. The new season will also introduce World War II-era weapons from Vanguard and will also have existing weapons from Warzone. To protect its players from cheaters and hackers, the game will use its newly introduced anti-cheat system. And this anti-cheat system is called Ricochet.
