Call of Duty developers are set to offer a brand new map to the players of Warzone this month. The anticipated update in Season 4 will end up revealing Vondel – the next Resurgence map for the battle royale. However, it’s also going to be a crucial part of the DMZ experience.
Now what’s interesting to note is that Vondel consists of numerous surprises. Players will witness them when it eventually makes its way next week with the debut of Season 4. There are many things about this area that make it different than the existing maps like Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. However, the introduction of a Dynamic Fog is something that hardly anyone was expecting to see in this city. But what’s so special about this new technology?

Vondel is built on the top of a network of canals and is technically below sea level. Hence, this location is subject to fog “during certain inclement weather conditions”. According to an official blog shared by the developers ahead of Season 4, players can expect this fog while making infiltrations in the DMZ mode. However, it might arrive on very rare instances in other modes as well.
The map of Vondel is introducing this new technology of Dynamic Fog to make Call of Duty players “feel more ingrained in the world of Modern Warfare II”. It will play a major role in the battle royale and DMZ encounters.
To begin with, the fog will be light enough to see the enemies, except for the extremely long ranges. “However, in rare instances, the fog will have the density to the level shown in the screenshot above.” In such cases, players will have to reevaluate their strategies. They will need to select the best optic to have a clear vision of their opponents.

By going inside, they will be able to make better plans instead of remaining out in the open for too long. If they remain careless, the other Operators may end up taking advantage of the Dynamic Fog.
