Call of Duty Warzone provides players with a lot of interesting options when it comes to picking up arms. While each weapon in the game is unique in its own way, some are clearly way more powerful and stand out from the rest.

Adding to the wide range of arsenal available to wield in Verdansk, the highly anticipated Season 3 of Warzone is finally here. Besides adding two new guns in the PPSh-41 SMG and the bolt-action Swiss K31 sniper rifle, the latest update brought a ton of tuning for existing weapons like the M16, FFAR, and many more.

Players are eager to find out which guns will solidify their spots in the new meta with the Season 3 update. They are also looking for a fresh alternative to the same class setups they have run countless times.

Owing to the dynamic nature of Warzone, it is good practice to keep track of all the weapons one can use for getting the dub. With so many powerful weapons to choose from, it is slightly difficult to distinguish the ones with the highest distinction.

A player’s playstyle is also a key factor in determining the guns that fit them like gloves. In this article, we take a look at the rankings of all the 100 Rifles, LMGs, SMGs, Shotguns, and other weapons in Call of Duty Warzone. We also highlight a viable class setup for each weapon players can consider in their loadouts this season.

Ranking all weapons in Call of Duty Warzone Season 3

Popular Warzone content creator and streamer JGOD recently shared his rankings of all the weapons within the game. He has formulated a spreadsheet in which he categorizes the various Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, Shotguns, and more, based on a general rating between 1 to 10. He has also provided an optimal class setup for each weapon, classifying the type or purpose they serve with that build.

In JGOD’s Warzone weapon rankings, a rating of 10 means “Unbelievably broken and needs a nerf”. The Gallantry blueprint for Mac10 that increased the SMG’s damage output in an unintended way and the SP-R 208 once functioning as a hitscan sniper up to a certain range, are two such examples.

A rating of 6 stands for “Really good and generally very balanced” and can be considered as the benchmark for how each weapon should strive to be. The M4A1 is a worthy mention in this category.

Meanwhile, 1 being the lowest weapon rating is equivalent to “Not worth ever using in any scenario ever”. The .50 GS handgun, commonly known as Desert Eagle, finds itself here.

To keep things short, we will list some of the top weapons from each class based on JDOG’s ratings, while also providing a viable loadout for each weapon. Apart from that, you can find all the weapons and their Warzone rankings in the screenshots embedded below from JDOG’s spreadsheet.

It is important to note that the PPSh-41 and the Swiss K31 are yet to make it to this list, as they are still relatively new in Season 3. However, you can check out the best loadouts with a very fast TTK for these two guns here.
