Without a shadow of a doubt, 2020 was the best year for Call of Duty Warzone. Raven Software and Activision together came up with a fantastic roster of events and updates that made the Battle Royale title awesome. Fans look back on the events from 2020, which also served as the debut year for the Battle Royale game.

The community shed light on Halloween’s biggest and probably the greatest event. It brought forward everyone’s favorite monsters in Jigsaw from Saw, Zombies, Leatherface, and many more. The Haunting of Verdansk was indeed one of the high points of the Battle Royale game, something the title hasn’t seen in a long time.

Reddit users look back at the high point of Call of Duty Warzone

Reddit user, u/fiigm3nt shared a post on the official subreddit and sparked discussion around the Halloween event. The previous year was indeed the best time to be a Call of Duty fan, as Raven Software and Activision left no stones unturned to produce great content. Although, the studio has been quite active in rolling out new seasons and updates. Sadly, things haven’t been nearly as amusing as compared to last year.

The community still hails ‘ The Haunting of Verdansk’ as the greatest event of the Battle Royale game. It was indeed one of the highest points of the title’s life-cycle. And fans would love to see Raven Software bring the Halloween event back with an 80s twist, which would be perfectly in tune with the current theme of Verdansk.

The era of the 80s has produced classic horror titles that have entertained the audience over the course of time. These movies have brought forward iconic characters like Jack Torrance, Hellraiser, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Predator, and many more. Halloween is right around the corner and in no time it will take over the world.

This would certainly be the perfect opportunity for Raven Software to win the community over, once again. The game has been struggling to keep hackers and cheaters at bay, which has caused serious problems for the community. This has brought the title to the edge of a mass walk-out, which can only be prevented with the release of an anti-cheat system.
