With the anticipated launch of Season 4, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and its free-to-play extension in Warzone have introduced numerous changes to make the overall gameplay experience amazing. Especially, when it comes to the battle royale title from Activision, that has finally witnessed a great news.

There’s been a lot of problems regarding server issues in Warzone ever since it was released last year. Many users have expressed their disappointment of facing connection problems, in the past months, during the most crucial moments in online matches. Fortunately, they won’t have to go through such difficulties going forward. The devs have now introduced an important feature in the title to make sure online matches run without any disruption. Interestingly, this vital feature is something that a rival BR, in Fortnite, has refused to reveal so far for its playerbase.

Along with the launch of the latest season, the makers recently shared the patch notes for MWII’s Multiplayer and Warzone. Speaking about the latter, it has now received the ‘Rejoin’ option for battle royale matches. Here’s an official description from the devs: “Players that experience a client crash on their device will be able to reconnect to their match within 4 minutes”.

Simply put, Call of Duty Warzone players, who usually end up getting disconnected, will now be able to rejoin an ongoing match within four minutes. However, there are several things they need to keep in mind. The criteria for using the Rejoin (BETA) feature is that an individual should be in a team (Duos, Trios, Quads). Moreover, at least 1 squad member should be alive in a match when a player gets disconnected. Also, there must be at least 5 Squads remaining during the time of disconnection.

Although there are few limitations to this feature as of now, its introduction will surely enable a better experience for Warzone players. At least now they have got an option to utilize during an uncertain moment of getting disconnected. On the other hand, there are certain battle royale games which are still not having such features. Epic Games’ Fortnite, one of the most popular titles in the world, still lacks it.

Since its arrival in 2017, the makers of Fortnite have stayed away from bringing a feature to rejoin matches. Similar to Call of Duty, its servers have also got huge problems. Players have, time and again, expressed their frustration regarding the unstable connections. Sadly, they will have to wait longer in order to have this issue fixed from the side of the devs at Epic.
