The Rebirth Island map from Call of Duty: Warzone is inspired by Alcatraz from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. When compared to Verdansk, the Rebirth Island is quite smaller, thus making fights more frequent. It feels like Activision has taken a page out of Black Ops and pasted it in Warzone.?

Didn’t get to play WZ while on vacation for a week but I did get to visit Rebirth Island 😉

Call of Duty: Warzone: Fan shares image of real-life Rebirth Island?
A user on Reddit going by the name of ‘Sl4nucrew‘ shared an impressive picture of a building that seems to have been the inspiration behind the Rebirth Island map of Call of Duty: Warzone. The fan was on vacation, and while he “didn’t get to play” the game for a week but, he certainly got to visit Rebirth Island.?
While the building is present on the Black Ops map, it is not as detailed and refined as seen on Rebirth Island. The Alcatraz map from COD Black Ops 4 was the second and final map of the game. It was set around the prison on Alcatraz Island. Rebirth Island, on the other hand, was introduced earlier this year to the game.

The Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is just a couple of days away, players will see new maps and modes. The new season will also bring different operators as well as brand-new weapons. Season 5 Reloaded is slated to launch on September 9.
