Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 is nearing its conclusion, and that means the good old Verdansk map will be going away. The map holds a lot of positive and negative memories that players have gathered across numerous seasons.
Activision has made a few changes here and there to the Verdansk map over the course of its lifecycle; the map’s core didn’t change much. The community has grown fond of the Warzone map and now recollects all the adored memories while also waiting for the next map.

Recently, a Warzone player on Reddit going by the name u/Diegodinizfsa shared his views about the Verdansk map in Call of Duty: Warzone. He says that the pandemic allowed him to play a lot of Warzone and he grew attached to the map. You can check out his post below.
As can be discerned from the post, the Warzone player does make a genuine case as games became one of the few ways to entertain oneself during the pandemic last year.
Many players had increased their gaming sessions due to extended lockdowns. The user did the same thing and grew more attached to Call of Duty: Warzone or the Verdansk map in particular. Many others who have been playing the map for a long time will also miss the setting and favorite drop locations.
The new map coming to the game might completely change a lot of things and looks like a great upgrade. The map replacing Verdansk is being called “The Pacific.” The map is set on a tropical island with flora and fauna. There is also the chance that we might get to see some animals; however, the developers have not confirmed that.
