The much anticipated Halloween event has commenced in Call of Duty Warzone and will go on until November 2. The developers have added new modes and Halloween-inspired operator skins for players along with other rewards. 

While all of this sounds exciting and fun, the Warzone community is not happy with the event and has called out the developers for this. The Halloween event was something Activision had been planning for a while now and the recent uproar by the Warzone community is bad news for developers and the game.

A Redditor named u/PutsOnYourWife shares his experience of the Warzone Halloween event in his recent post and the user’s frustration looks genuine. You can check out his post below.

As can be deduced, the player has some legitimate problems with this year’s Halloween event. The user even goes on to say the Haunting of Verdansk mode “is trash” when compared to last year’s event. As per the post, the Warzone Halloween event has nothing that scares anyone or is spooky.

Instead, the player urges Raven to improve “the cheap animations” and get rid of the cheaters that are ruining the experience of genuine players. This is not the first time players are raising concern about hackers or cheaters in Call of Duty Warzone, but the problem seems unending despite numerous efforts by Activision and Raven.

The user even adds that the challenges and the sound effects are very plain and basic. All of this is really bad news for the franchise and the developers. Halloween events in Warzone have been good at keeping players engaged and offering cosmetics.
