On September 21, Call of Duty: Warzone hosted a limited-time event called the ‘Numbers event,’ which will last a few weeks. The event contains a bunch of challenges that players need to perform to procure different awards.

Generally, new events in games are engaging and give the community new things to do. However, things are not looking up for Warzone ‘Numbers event.’ The Warzone community has brought up some concerns with regard to the challenges in the event.

In the Warzone Numbers event, players get thrown into a map with nine broadcast stations. Each station has some text that offers directions. Players will need to interact with every station and activate it by pressing a big red button. As the directions play out, every player will get some rewards.

After the event went live, the Warzone community was left unsatisfied by the lack of content or things to do. While the map had nine different stations, the missions around them felt monotonous and trivial. A Warzone player on Reddit named u/JustThat0neGuy posted his thoughts about the challenges and the event. You can check out his post below.

The player is not impressed with the event and even says that “This isn’t an event Raven, this is a basic map update.” The Warzone community was clearly anticipating more from Raven Software, but the developers have failed to meet expectations.

The challenges in the Warzone Numbers event are more in the lines of visiting a place A and listening to a couple of commands. JustThatOneGuy perfectly puts it here.

“Go into BR, Grab a quad/dirtbike/helo, go to within 200m of each clearly marked site when it turns green, get the reward. that’s it. I got all but 2 of them in one game, due to the gas cutting it off.”
