As per the images posted, the user was getting somewhere around 55 ms of ping. After a while, the ping drastically increased to 155ms. This is not the first time players have faced this issue. Call of Duty: Warzone has been criticized by the community for its matchmaking system.

The developers have already confirmed that Warzone has no skill-based matchmaking, thanks to its high player count. And the high ping issue during matchmaking has been one of the most annoying things for players.

Some players have even said that the issues are game-breaking in the evenings, as the majority of players try to join the match. Another user on Reddit posted that he and his team have been facing major lag and ping issues during the initial hours of the game.

Some players have even reported the ping to go as high as 900ms, which is not playable at all. The developers need to fix these issues in Call of Duty: Warzone if they want players to have a smooth gameplay experience.

With Call of Duty: Vanguard around the corner, Activision wouldn’t want these same issues to plague the upcoming title. This will be saddening for both the community and the company. The developers should try to push upgrades in the coming weeks, which address these issues.
