Players of Call of Duty Warzone are super frustrated with the current state of the game. The game is filled with hackers. There are glitches and performance issues. And then there is the overall lack of impactful content. Needless to say, Call of Duty Warzone is a mess right now, and unless season 5 fixes these issues and revives the game, there’s a good chance a lot of players might quit Warzone. Season 5 will be a pivotal point that determines the fate of the game.

Call of Duty Warzone: what players want

Players just want the game to be fun again. A lot of people spend hours upon hours playing these games, trying to get better. And when their efforts are rendered futile, courtesy of hackers massacring everyone with their hacks, they don’t feel like continuing with the game. This is why a lot of people have already quit the game. And if Activision doesn’t do something soon, the game might just become a lost cause.

Compared to other adversities the game currently faces, hackers are by far the biggest one. The gaming community came together and pleaded with the devs to take proper measures to reduce the number of hackers in the game, but nothing came of it. All the devs would do was remove some hackers, and the hackers would just make more accounts and get right back to ruining people’s fun. Players have been asking for a proper Anti-Cheat for the longest time, and the game is yet to get that.

Alongside the hacker problem, there are other problems like glitches. And contrary to what might believe, the devs are usually pretty quick to address and resolve these issues. Glitches can prove to be disruptive, and hopefully, season 5 will see most of them gone.

These are probably the two main problems the game faces currently. The game will probably get lots of new content next season, and that will take care of the low-content problem. Performance issues and balancing issues won’t be that difficult to fix either. So what the devs should do is prioritize removing hackers from the game. If season 5 does fix the aforementioned issues, the game might slowly die out.
