Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 Reloaded arrived on September 8 with a host of changes to the battle royale. Keeping with the theme of previous mid-season updates, Season 5 Reloaded introduces new maps, game modes, and even a special event within Warzone. Here is the list of changes that have been made alongside the latest update.

This new update ranges from 5GB to 7.6GB in size depending on what platform you are using. The variety of changes are detailed in Call of Duty’s Patch Notes blog post. First and foremost, it lays out the weekly playlist for the month of September.

Starting September 9th, players will be able to enjoy every iteration of the battle royale mode in Verdansk, in addition to a new game mode named Clash. Rebirth Island will feature the Resurgence game mode available for trios and squads of four. The new game mode ‘Clash’ is a 50v50 deathmatch that includes battle royale elements such as the armor system, cash, buy stations, and vehicles.

Map changes are a standard part of any new Call of Duty update. As a result, Raven Software has now added Mobile Broadcast Stations into the game. These are essentially trucks with massive antennas from which players will be able to obtain loot. The existing Red Doors have also been changed to include a special Easter egg, which players must figure out.

The numbers event arrives with Call of Duty Warzone season 5 Reloaded

Another major change with Season 5 Reloaded is the introduction of ‘The Numbers’ event. According to the blog post, this event will begin on September 21st. It is speculated to make use of the Red Doors and Mobile Broadcast Stations. Those who visit these stations during the event will receive bonuses such as an instant $5,000 Cash bonus, exclusive stickers, or calling cards and those who complete all the challenges during the ‘The Numbers’ event will receive the ‘Sai’ melee weapon.

Lastly, Season 5 Reloaded brings a host of weapon changes to the game. Guns such as the Groza and DMR 14 have been buffed with the latest update while the Krig 6 and PPSh-41 are not as effective. Overall, it is a great update that has provided a breath of fresh air to Warzone players.
