Although the newly introduced DMZ mode in Call of Duty Warzone 2 is quite fascinating, not all the players think it is good anymore. In fact, some of them have recently expressed their disappointment towards this unique mode which now seems to be losing its uniqueness.
Recently, some Call of Duty fans took to Reddit platform to share the current problem DMZ is going through. And according to their reactions, Infinity Ward’s team hasn’t done a satisfying job to make it engaging enough. Plus, it might lose its sheen soon in case there’s no solution revealed from the side of the developers in the coming days.

In its entirety, DMZ is very huge in terms of featuring hidden locations, endless POI options, looting elements, and variety of AI combat scenarios. It is a free-to-play (and sort of open-world) zone of Warzone 2 where players can either taken down other operators or team up with them to complete a challenging quest. There’s no end to what one can explore in this extraction-based experience.
However, there’s a section of Call of Duty fans who believe that the major problem of DMZ are the missions themselves. As per them, there’s no creativity involved in most of them due to which they feel repetitive in nature. In fact, some users have even called them pointless. This is also what a fan, known as Howie_M, tried to explain in a recent Reddit post.

“I don’t think I have never felt more strongly that I waste time than when I see these completely pointless “missions”. 90 gas masks and 100 radiation blockers – for a shotgun that I’ll lose the first time it will be equipped.” reads the title of the Redditor’s post. Simply put, they feel that a lot of missions are eventually proving to be useless. Because completing them mostly becomes too simple and repetitive.

Now that’s a serious situation the team of Infinity Ward should take notice of. If that’s truly what some players are feeling like, maybe it’s high time for the devs to pull up their socks in order to fill the DMZ mode in Call of Duty Warzone 2 with some freshness. They can do that by revealing more variety to how players can approach certain missions. Thus, they won’t feel exhausting or repetitive at all.
