Popular YouTuber WhosImmortal recently came up with an interesting video on his channel. He talked about how the makers are currently teasing a potential event for the title. One can expect it to be similar to the one that had Godzilla taking on Kong in 2022. It was revealed after the release of the live-action movie based on the two titans.

What makes the currently rumored event interesting is its similarity with Godzilla and Kong’s crossover with Call of Duty Warzone. In case anyone missed it, right now there’s a journal entry that can be found in the game and it makes a reference to a monster’s existence beneath the sea on the map of Ashika Island.

Due to the attack of a mysterious monster, there’s been a disturbance on the island. The latter is part of the main battle royale experience of Warzone 2, as well as the DMZ mode. Per the journal entry, “something has attacked the ships” and it is making creepy noises. On top of it, there are several signs on the island, indicating that sharks could be the reason behind all this mess.

As mentioned by WhosImmortal, some of the Shipwrecks found on Ashika Island’s various POIs have got icons representing sharks. Plus, there are other banners warning the players of their presence. This means that the upcoming, rumored event in Warzone 2 might feature sharks (or something like a megalodon) in a major role.
