Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has been out for months now and it’s still not been able to impress the majority of the players. As if the bugs and gameplay issues weren’t enough, to make matters worse, the game has failed miserably in offering them an engaging multiplayer experience. It seems to be struggling despite major updates pushed out by the developers.

An interesting element that fans of this series have found to be a great addition to multiplayer matches is ‘map voting’. This feature was last seen in 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. It was absent from Vanguard, which was released nearly two years ago. The same is the case with the ongoing entry as well. Frustrated fans took to social media to complain about the lack of this key option in multiplayer matches.

Map Voting plays a very crucial role in determining which map is more popular among users. Right before a match starts, the individuals can vote for their preferred map. The option that gets the most votes then ends up being the map for that specific match. However, this feature was nowhere to be seen when Activision launched MWII last year.

Many players expected it to get added in future seasons. But their wish is yet to be fulfilled even eight months after Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s debut. The situation has gotten worse as a majority are receiving maps they don’t like. Considering the ongoing scenario, a Reddit user took to the social platform to express their opinion.

The player, known as CODplaya44, wrote that they are “tired of getting put onto” Black Gold, Border Crossing, Museum and Showdown. The first two have been the most disliked maps in MWII so far. Hence, seeing them frequently in Multiplayer matches has become quite annoying for a lot of users. It becomes quite evident from some of the reactions to CODplaya44’s post.
