The next title in Activision’s flagship franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard launches with the return of the iconic COD zombies. The iconic undead monsters return to the battle arena once again to add to the chaos.

The devs premiered the first trailer for the zombies in October. Although the fans were quite pleased by what they saw, it’s safe to say a gameplay teaser is much more convincing. And leakers have brought the community just that. Ahead of the title’s much-awaited launch this week, an apparent video of Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies has made its way to the internet.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies Leaked Footage

The clip surfaced on multiple platforms earlier today (November 1) and the original video leaking the alleged gameplay has since been deleted. While the video posted on YouTube is blurry, it’s clear it is a clip from Vanguard’s Zombies mode thanks to the treacherous audio queues.

In the reloaded videos sharing the footage posted by VGC,  viewers can see a POV-view of a player sprinting around the map and taking the army of the undead head-on.

You can also see “portals seen throughout the gameplay, hinting at multiple locations for any one of Vanguard’s Zombies maps,” as per GamesRadar.

Interestingly, although Vanguard is under development of Sledgehammer Games, the zombies will be designed by the master of the art, Treyarch. Treyarch Studios is responsible for the 2020 title, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. And according to the devs, the new zombies will be a “franchise-first crossover”.

And if you ever wondered where the walking-dead made their way to BOCW from, Vanguard will solve all the mysteries. Activision also revealed Vanguard’s zombies’ storyline is “the precursor to Black Ops Cold War Zombies.”

Since the publisher hit the videos on YouTube with DMCA strikes, there are chances they could be authentic. With this said, one must note these are only claims and nothing has been confirmed yet.
