Call of Duty franchise has been struggling to sustain the player count in the last year or so. It has been quite obvious, given the fact that entries like Vanguard and the ongoing Modern Warfare II have both failed to impress the fans.
Currently, there’s a dire need to revive the action series with a title that can bring back the FPS gamers. Seems like Treyarch’s new Black Ops game, rumored to be Call of Duty 2024, can do that. At least the leaks and speculations have suggested such a possibility. However, there’s been another leak doing the rounds on the internet that can lead to a serious backlash from hardcore Black Ops fans.

Activision is yet to reveal anything on the next big project from the studio. But the insiders on the internet have succeeded in getting some information on this awaited game from the Black Ops Cold War developer. Recently, an account that goes by the name of Ural Mountains Gulf War, on Twitter, shared a link to a website.
Apparently, this link was to a page that featured a detailed list of all the leaked elements Call of Duty 2024 could have. To begin with, it mentions that next year’s Black Ops will take place during the Gulf War. Moreover, the returning characters will be Adler, Sims, Woods, Mason, and Helen Park (Lazar’s death will be canon). Ratcliffe is said to be the main protagonist of the single-player campaign.

Moving onto Multiplayer, the leak claims that CoD 2024 will have 12 6v6 maps at launch, with Nuketown to come out soon after. Ranked Play is expected to be unveiled during Season 1. Interestingly, along with the Classic Scorestreak system, the game is alleged to have Tactical Sprint as well. Per the supposed leak, it will be the first “black ops game to have tac sprint”.

The introduction of the tactical sprint in entries like Modern Warfare II has already annoyed a lot of users. If the aforementioned leak happens to be legit, they won’t like this change at all. In fact, Black Ops titles have never featured something like Tactical Sprint. This means that this mysterious leak could be fake, according to another insider named Alaix. The latter recently responded to it, when someone asked him to react.
Seems completely BS

Yeah, tac sprint should be nowhere near a real CoD.
