The 2022 sequel is still a mystery to most of the franchise fans because there hasn’t been any official information so far from the side of developers, or any Activision executive for that matter. But this doesn’t mean we don’t have any details at all.
Recently, another reputed and trusted leaker, Tom Henderson, came up with some solid intel on the Call of Duty sequel. He suggested that the second part won’t have a new name; instead, it’s simply called Modern Warfare 2.
Moreover, the game is said to release in November next year. Speaking of the early information regarding the maps, then the returning ones will include Favela, Highrise, and Shipment. And of course, Terminal and Quarry are also on the list.
