Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is fast approaching its end ahead of the release of 2023’s new premium from Activision. While the next entry is still few months away, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned in entertaining the fans with lucrative updates. Season 4 seems to be doing exactly that.
Just recently, the devs officially announced a big news for the upcoming mid-season surprise for MWII as well as Warzone. Confirming the long-running speculations and rumors, they have finally revealed the much-awaited collaboration with The Boys. Apart from this event, however, there will be a lot more in store for the players.

The developers have made it clear that the new update will see the end of the Raids in MWII. Season 4 Reloaded will introduce the finale for this mode in the form of the fourth Raid mission. Not to mention that it will directly tie in to the story of the game’s single-player Campaign.
Furthermore, the Multiplayer setup will receive a fresh 6v6 map as well, called Vondel Waterfront. “While using the water for stealth maneuvers is an effective strategy, think about employing the Ghost Perk, Dead Silence, Counter-UAVs, suppressors, and other tools to maintain a low profile,” reads the blog description for the map.
Moving onto the major event itself, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will cross paths with The Boys. Season 4 Reloaded will see superhuman characters like Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir making their debuts in Activision’s action franchise.

Most of the update’s content is based on The Boys TV series, including the weapons as well as some map-related transitions too. Players will get to have a new shotgun in MX Guardian. It will mostly be available as an option to pick for close-range encounters. It can be obtained by unlocking a [CLASSIFIED] Sector in the Battle Pass.
However, the most interesting addition is going to be a Field Upgrade called Temp V. It is “Vought International’s proprietary blend that is near-perfect for anyone wanting to be a Supe.” The blog mentions it as a unique way to gain supernatural abilities. “Upon consuming it, Temp V grants one of four random superpowers in your Field Upgrade slot, though it doesn’t act like a usual Field Upgrade. Once you use Temp V, you’re then free to activate this power whenever you wish”.
