The Call of Duty franchise has players spending hundreds of hours trying to get an edge over the competition. With the release of Modern Warfare 3, the craze for the game is back. Many players are diving into the game to see what the latest and greatest Call of Duty game has to offer. While there are many new features added to the game, some players prefer the nostalgia of Modern Warfare 3.

Nonetheless, most fans can’t deny the fact that it has its fair share of problems. One of them is snipers choosing to camp in one location and picking players off from a vantage point. While this is an element of the gameplay, many players dislike the playstyle. Back in 2009, a clip of one such camper being taken out most entertainingly had surfaced which took the community by storm. Now in 2023, another player decided to recreate the clip in the latest Modern Warfare game.

A short clip that went viral on social media back in 2009 has been recreated by a player in Modern Warfare 3. The iconic video featured one player sneaking up on a camping sniper and taking them out in an interesting way. It starts with the player heading toward a camper without being noticed. Upon reaching right behind him, the player decides to open chat and ping the camper, stating the words ” Behind you.”

This led the camper to turn around, only to get killed instantly. This clip had the community in splits back in the day and is even spoken about until today. The same situation was recreated by one Modern Warfare 3 player who decided to take out the sniper when they saw it on the map.

Just like in the original clip, the player snuck up on the camper and texted him “Turn around”. When the camper did not understand that the player was talking to him, the player called out the sniper. This is when the sniper knew what was going to happen next. The Sniper finally turned and this time, instead of getting knifed, the player planted a headshot on the enemy.
