Call of Duty Modern Warfare III (2011) was the final title of the Modern Warfare series (2007-11) which gloriously put an end to Captain Price’s revenge and attained peace. To date, it stands as such a well-celebrated series that receives massive love for the action portrayed in it.
Though the franchise revamped the series in Modern Warfare I (2019) and II (2022), Modern Warfare III still remains a title that ages like fine wine.
Immersive gaming experience, an engrossing storyline, heavy machinery, and that powerful punch of battlefield action, is what defines MWIII. But did you know that once Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington did an action promo for the game?
Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington once promoted Call of Duty Modern Warfare III in an action trailer
“The Vet & The n00b” was the action promo that Hill and Worthington did for Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. The promo started with the two being in the midst of warfare in New York City, loading their guns and getting ready to combat the enemy forces.
Also, Worthington got the title “The Vet” while “The n00b” is given to Jonah Hill, but not for long.
In a matter of seconds, The Vet shot down the approaching forces and blasted off a helicopter portraying the perfect in-game adrenaline-filled scenario. Meanwhile, Hill fires the machine gun in all directions but unfortunately steps on a mine.
Cut-scene straight to Berlin, Hill shows bravery to launch the rocket on the enemy, killing him instantly but asking the Vet if should have used the knife.
Cut-scene then straight to France, both reload the guns, throw grenades, and open heavy fire at enemies, and then find themselves in an uncontrolled airplane fighting enemies.
Excitingly, Hill faces a character change when he asks his partner to rest while he faces the enemies courageously. The impressed “Vet” gives a positive nod as Hill comes back after killing the enemies in an impeccable fashion.
“There’s a soldier in all of Us,” this message gets flashed on the promo while the two walk off the battlefield. To take the adrenaline quotient high, American professional basketball player Dwight Howard gives a cameo and goes on to fight the enemies.
