Ever since the announcement of the next Call of Duty, hardcore fans have been eager to know more about it. After all, it’s going to feature some phenomenal changes in the entire Modern Warfare sub-series. The upcoming Zombies mode happens to be one of them.
Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Modern Warfare III will consist of a huge map having Zombies. Well, that’s something everyone is aware of already. However, what could be interesting to note is that players may end up witnessing a ‘darker setting’ filled with hordes of the undead!

In case anyone missed keeping track of recent news, the makers have announced a Limited Collector’s Edition box for Modern Warfare III. It is priced at $149 and offers many lucrative items for hardcore fans to collect. To name a few, there is the exclusive collector box, a Bronze-Washed Resin Wall Plaque Featuring Ghosts, and Special Edition Lithographs among others.
However, the most crucial reward one needs to focus on is the Zombie Night Vision Metallic Poster. As one can see it in the image, above, the poster features two soldiers wearing night vision goggles. Not to mention the creepy, mysterious Zombie creature lurking behind them.
Now giving it a second thought, this specific poster may be a sign of what players can expect from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Zombies mode. In short, it may end up having a day-and-night cycle. If that happens, such a setting will only make the overall PvE experience absolutely wild in terms of finishing the quests amidst increased challenges. As of now, it’s just speculation since the devs haven’t actually confirmed anything so far.
What’s more to watch out for in Modern Warfare III?
Sledgehammer will bring back nostalgia in MWIII with 16 remastered maps upon its release. The studio’s team has already mentioned how much work it has put into rebuilding several iconic areas from scratch. But they will still feel the same as those who have grown up playing classic CODs.
Moreover, the game will also include a Carry Forward feature. It will simply allow the users to keep their purchased bundles and cosmetics from the existing title MWII. But that’s not everything!

Modern Warfare III will also bring classic movement mechanics, alongside other improvements for a great FPS experience. In terms of the Campaign, it will see the return of Vladimir Makarov – the iconic series villain. He was last seen in 2011’s original MW3. As expected, he will pose a serious threat to the members of Task Force 141 who will need to stop him from destroying the world.
