Despite the underwhelming performance of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, the FPS franchise is running in full form. That’s the beauty of it. Whenever a new installment is on the horizon, most COD fans tend to shift their focus on what’s next, rather than continuing with their criticism. It is the exact case with this year’s upcoming premium offering too.
Ever since Modern Warfare III was officially revealed, the surrounding buzz has only increased, to say the least. Perhaps the biggest reason for that is its connection to zombies. After all, it will be the first time players will witness a MW entry crossing paths with the undead. Now, a newly leaked intel regarding Zombies in MWIII has surfaced online!

In short, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will reportedly feature content based on Zombies alongside Multiplayer when the Open Beta goes live on all platforms.
For those who missed to keep track of details, the Open Beta will kick off on October 6 through October 16. It will be available on the following platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam or Battle.net.
What to expect from Zombies in Modern Warfare III?
So far, not much has been confirmed on the debut of Zombies in the Modern Warfare universe. However, one thing which is certain is that there will be an open-world map with a PvE format. Players will be working in teams to take on hordes of the undead. They will have to make a successful extraction after surviving zombies.
This mode will reveal a Dark Aether storyline set in the MW universe. Not to mention that some of the biggest COD enemies will also appear in this unique experience.
