In a recent blog, informing about Season 5 Reloaded, the devs mentioned many details regarding the mid-season update. However, what’s interesting to note in the blog is the confirmation of a sixth MWII season.
“Season 05 — and Season 06, to be announced — is the golden opportunity to prepare for Modern Warfare III”, reads the blog description. It simply confirms that Call of Duty Modern Warfare II won’t be limited to just five seasons. The latter is the usual number of seasons a COD game ends up having in a year. But it seems like 2023 will be an exception for the ongoing installment.

Right now, fans are waiting for the Season 5 Reloaded update. It will introduce numerous weapons, modes, maps, and Operators. They can be used in Multiplayer as well as Warzone battle royale.
