Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has mostly received a lukewarm response from the community. Since its debut, the premium installment has kept getting subsequent updates that have somewhat improved the overall experience. However, the game is still far from being thoroughly enjoyable to say the least.
But it looks like the next Season might change the circumstances for the good. Season 4 is expected to feature some new additions by the devs, especially when it comes to the battle royale in Warzone 2. So far, the rumors had suggested a release window for mid-June for the awaited update; but now there’s a date too!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Season 4 arrives on June 14 with a new Resurgence map in Warzone 2

Media outlet CharlieIntel is known for dropping numerous details in advance whenever a new Season is about to come out. This time, too, the website hasn’t disappointed in delivering the information about Season 4.
Per the latest leak from the outlet, it looks like Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will receive the Season 4 content on June 14th. The date applies to the battle royale Warzone 2 as well.
Season 04 begins June 14th and will include the new Warzone map Vondel, which is set in Netherlands and is developed by Beenox, per sources. Map will have Resurgence support to start. More info to come 👀

What’s interesting to note about the latest leak is the reveal of a new map called Vondel. Many rumors had already mentioned it months ago but its arrival wasn’t confirmed for Warzone 2. Now, it’s been reportedly revealed that Vondel will be the next Resurgence map in the free-to-play game. And that it will be set in the Netherlands. It is developed by the Beenox studio, according to the sources behind the leaked intel.
If the aforementioned information is true, players will eventually witness a fresh option for the Resurgence experience. So far, the map of Ashika Island has done a good job since the time it was first unveiled in Season 2. Additionally, CharlieIntel has also revealed that the map of Vondel might also support the DMZ mode in the future.
