Ever since its worldwide launch last year, Activision’s Modern Warfare II, the newest Call of Duty installment, has witnessed an interesting phase, to say the least. Yes, it’s been the best-selling game of 2022, but there have been many issues as well related to its overall experience. Not to mention that players have been very vocal about the problems they have come across in the last few months. However, after the debut of Season 2, things have improved slightly.
While the players are enjoying the Multiplayer experience, some are still dissatisfied with the available options in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Especially when it comes to the weapons in the game. Given the fact that the ongoing title is loosely based on the original game from 2009, some nostalgia lovers have recently expressed their wish to see more iconic elements return from the decade-old installment.

So far, several throwback features have been added to MWII by the devs. However, those players who are loyal fans of the franchise want to see more classic elements back—for example, the Tactical Knife weapon attachment.
For those who are unaware of it, this weapon attachment was first introduced in 2009’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It allowed the players to quickly melee their opponents if they were running with their pistols out. This enabled them to quickly take down the enemies in a rapid manner.

In the end, everything depends on the makers themselves. If they are planning to add more throwback elements to Modern Warfare II, then hopefully, they will also bring more weapon attachments as well. Activision‘s ongoing Call of Duty game is now available worldwide. Players can buy it on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
