Call of Duty series is known for offering some of the most memorable maps in its history. In all the major installments released in the franchise so far, hardcore fans have appreciated the inclusion of impressive areas to get an enjoyable experience. And this trend has continued with Activision’s current title Modern Warfare II as well.
While the game was released with many new maps for Call of Duty fans, they wanted to see the return of several old favorites as well. One of them was the iconic Shipment. The makers fulfilled their wish by offering it last year. However, due to the format of a rotating playlist, it gets replaced by other maps time-to-time. Something like this happened a few days back when Shipment was unexpectedly removed from MWII. However, the devs recently revealed it back with the Shoot the Ship 24/7 playlist. Unfortunately, though, their decision seems to have backfired as the players are not happy at all.

In case anyone is not aware, Shoot the Ship 24/7 is a mixture of two maps namely Shipment and Shoot House. When entering this playlist, users either get a map based on Shipment or Shoot House for a given match. It happens randomly so they might end up getting more than one map on several occasions. Probably that’s why this playlist is not liked by certain fans. Because it decreases the chance of them playing in Shipment compared to Shoot House.
One player recently took to Reddit to express their frustration towards the returning playlist of Shoot the Ship 24/7. They shared a post while mentioning that what they get mostly while entering this playlist is the Shoot House map. There’s no sign of Shipment and its appearance has become a rare phenomenon, to say the least. The user wrote that the devs should have kept its title ‘Shoot House 24/7’ instead of ‘Shoot the Ship 24/7’ because the chances of witnessing Shipment in it are very less.
The Reddit post was later deleted by the user u/EntrepreneurLevel777 for an inexplicable reason. Here’s a screenshot from the same:

All things considered, it looks like Call of Duty players want more of Shipment than anything else in the Multiplayer experience. Hopefully, the dedicated map will return to the game in the next update.
