While Activision’s action blockbuster in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has swayed most of the players, not everyone is happy with its content so far. Especially when it comes to the availability of maps for multiplayer experience in Ranked Play.

Yes, the competitive setup has mostly impressed the fans but there have been some aspects that have annoyed them. For example, the Control mode, in particular, has ended up frustrating players in Ranked Play. That’s because of a specific map which was unveiled for this mode. However, not all the players liked it and some of them even mentioned that it was the worst Control map in the competitive experience of Modern Warfare II. Well, now the devs have acknowledged this situation while also bringing a good news for everyone.

Al Bagra Control is finally out from Ranked Play in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Ever since Ranked Play was introduced in Season 2, Al Bagra’s addition to its setup was making a lot of players angry. The reason for that was their frustration with how the map was designed for a mode like Control. Many of them had raised their voices while mentioning that the map was simply not the right choice for this mode in Ranked Play.

And now, following a long wait, the players’ wish has been fulfilled. The official account of CDL recently took to Twitter to announce a major update regarding Modern Warfare II’s competitive mode. The devs have now removed Al Bagra Fortress Control from Ranked Play.

All things considered, regular players as well as professionals can finally breathe a sigh of relief. After all, their pending request has been approved now. Hopefully, the devs will keep listening to the community more frequently in order to provide the users what they want.

Lately, there’s been a lot going against Modern Warfare II, despite offering some good elements with Season 2. Seems like devs are yet to make the best changes that players really want in the overall experience. Meanwhile, the premium game is now available across the globe on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One, and PC.
