In case anyone missed keeping track of events, the devs recently rolled out new patch notes for Modern Warfare II. According to them, the makers have tweaked certain things while also fixing specific bugs. However, there’s one change in particular that has disappointed the users the most.
Per the patch notes, the sprint to fire speed has now been nerfed. Previously, it was getting increased way too much for the players of Modern Warfare II as well as Warzone 2. But now the devs have fixed this issue with “tuning that allowed Sprint to Fire Speeds to be increased beyond intended levels.”
Given the fact that the overall movement in MWII has been slower than expected for a lot of players, this recent modification has led to increased criticism. Before the change regarding Tuning, they were able to move faster, but now it’s not the case at all. As expected, some of the individuals took to Reddit to express their frustration against the developing team of Infinity Ward.
One user, known as u/Rrrrrrrrrromance, shared a post while mentioning how the makers are stubborn about keeping “the pace of this game slow”. Have a look at it below:

All things considered, this is just yet another occasion of the devs inviting an increased backlash for themselves. They will need to address the problems of players rather than escalate them further. Otherwise, it will be too late to save the ongoing installment from fading away in terms of relevance.
